Blogging Is Not Dead

Again and again we read the same thing: blogging is dead.

Wired said it last year. We are social said it last month. And that silly old “blogging is dead” meme was last seen only two weeks ago. Taking something that is alive and kicking and declaring it to be dead seems to be the easiest way of looking smart and trendy.

Well, I don’t buy it.

My former colleague Benjamin Husmann said it well:

Blogging is only dead when our stories can be reduced to 140 characters.

To prove those “experts” wrong, Jeroen and I (Jurgen) decided to start a new blog. Both of us already have our own blogs: Lemonstation (about eBusiness) and NOOP.NL (about development management). But we have more stories to tell. Stories that don’t fit well on our personal blogs, and stories that cannot be reduced to 140 characters or less.

The stories on this blog will be about Social CRM, and we’re going to tell you more about it later.

In the meantime, we’re glad you’re here. And we hope you will be joining us on this new adventure!
